The Z4 is one of our favourite roadsters. The elegant, flowing lines, result in the car not seeming to age. The classic sports car look with superb German build quality.
We love the design, sitting on the rear axle, the big long bonnet, really gives the ideal sports car feel.
The 2.5 straight 6 is our favourite engine in the Z4. The naturally aspirated feel, providing a consistent power band, and sounding like a sports car should.
The 3 piece folding roof, is still a work of art. Retracting neatly into the boot, with ample space for over night luggage. Being a metal roof, it provides the benefit of having a coupe and convertible in one. No wind noise or risk of tears that occurs in the fabric equivalents. Plus the Z4 is one of the only cars in the class, that looks as pretty with the roof up, as when it’s down. Not many cabriolets can pull that off.
The classic minimalist interior, again adds to what a sports car feel should be. Heated seats, full red leather, air conditioning, sensors front and rear. It’s simple, and not over complicated.
Overall a great value sports car. Put a private plate on, and it would instantly look twice the price. Excellent value at just £7650
