This is one of those cars that we just don’t want to sell.
Introducing our Jeep Wrangler 2.8CRD Sport from 2007.
The car originally came in as a part exchange, against an older 92 Wrangler that we had in stock. Since then we have really fallen for it and spent a small fortune to get it to this level.
Covering a 106,000 miles from new, it looks as if it has done a quarter of that. We firstly had the paintwork fully machined detailled, back to factory fresh. We then changed the gearbox oil, replaced the windscreen due to a small crack and removed the entire roof rack system. The roof rack system has been completely repainted in satin black, due to being stored for a number or years, and looks superb.
I haven’t come across another in this specification.
Full quilted black leather. Off road, chunky tires with white side walls, matching all round. Reverse camera in the rear view mirror, LED lights, gloss black alloys, touch screen display, colour coded roof rack, privacy glass finished the look, along with the colour coded spare wheel.
It really does look as good as a G Wagon or Defender, but around 3-4 times cheaper! Great fun to drive. The roof panels can be removed to give the full Jurassic Park feel! All it needs is a surf board on the top, and would be the ideal beach car.
I have seen several of the 5dr versions, but the 2dr look so much better proportioned.
The power steering is super responsive, and the turning circle feels as quick as a London Taxi, making it superb easy to park.
Attracts the smiles wherever it goes.
A real one off that we do not want to let go in a hurry!
